 Post subject: question about msd coil packs

ok was wondering about these coil packs, accel, msd, so on. are they even worth it to by? i hear about them all the time, but when ppl come to my to check there cars 8 outts 10 of them needs new coils, i personally think the stock gm coils r better, but was wondering about them. any ideas?

ok thx i thought so, jus notice jchrisman had a set and they for cheap, color is flashy lol, but ya i replaced so many of these on peoples cars its sad cuz they keep rebuying the same ones.

I run MSD's and haven't had any problems. I replaced my stock coils due to a miss (which turned out to be a bad ground). I talked to an MSD engineer at SEMA and he even commented that the stock coils are perfectly fine. I bought the MSD's because I worked in the perf. business and could get them for 1/2 the cost of the stock coils. 100K later, they're doing fine...
